Organizing a written account without adding to it

The tool sorts the account you enter into people, chronology, records (those you hold, those the other party should hold, and those known not to exist), points that waver, inference versus fact, and the writer's questions, and produces two PDFs: a fact summary and a timeline. It adds no facts or years that are not in the original, and memories that waver are left as they are. It is built on the results of our research reports.

Limits	Up to 3 analyses per person per day. A second analysis requires a 10-minute interval after the previous one. There is also an overall daily limit.

Name replacement	Names of people and organizations, contact details, and street addresses are replaced with labels (Person A, Organization A, and so on) before storage and analysis. Names not in the dictionary and nicknames may be missed.
Storage and deletion	Input and generated PDFs are deleted from this site's servers after 72 hours. The OpenAI API used for the analysis keeps inputs for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring. They are not used for training.
Output	A draft for a consultation. It contains no legal advice or predictions and may contain errors.

Please do not enter real names or other details that identify people.

Organizing

The tool is reading the account and organizing the facts. This can take about a minute. Please keep this page open.

1. Enter the account

Write what happened, as far as you remember it. Spoken language, bullet points, copied diary entries, and voice-input transcripts can be entered as they are. Where a date or order is not known, write that it is not known. For events written without a year, the year is left blank.

Supported: .txt, .md, .json, .docx, and PDFs with selectable text. Not supported: .doc (old Word format), image files, and scanned-image PDFs. Files are converted to text inside this browser and added to the input field.

2. List of records

For each record you hold (emails, messages, recordings, photos, notes, and so on), write its name, date, and what it shows, one item at a time. Records the other party should hold and records known not to exist can also be listed. The list is used to attach the corresponding records to each event in the timeline. If there are no records, the field can be left empty.

Handling of records

Please do not enter photo, audio, or video files. Write only the name, date, and a summary of the content.
For records containing personal or confidential information, please write only what is necessary.
A list can be loaded from .txt, .md, .json, .docx, or .pdf files.

About the output

The output is generated with OpenAI gpt-4.1-mini. Because AI can get facts wrong, the following points need to be checked against the original text.

For events written without a year, the year is left blank. The tool is built not to fill it in by guessing, but it can still get this wrong.
Some events in the input may not be picked up.
Records you do not hold (for example, files kept by an employer) are also listed, but their existence has not been verified.

The same text does not produce the same output every time. The result is a draft for a consultation, not a finished document for filing.

Events and records are listed in date order. If no date includes a year, they are listed in the order written. The PDF has six columns: date and time, place, people involved, event, evidence (item), and notes. The notes show certainty and variations in how the writer put things.
